Sources inside the Turkish-backed Syrian factions tell me that in exchange for fighting in Libya, fighters are being promised Turkish citizenship after 6 months of deployment. Multiple commanders in the factions received Turkish citizenship & passports over the past month.

A fighter in the Samarkand Brigade told me why fighters are going to Libya: "Turkey is carrying out a policy of starving the dog to make him follow you." The salaries of fighters in Syria are $50 per month - impossible to survive on. Rumored monthly salaries in Libya are $1,500.

This is how desperate Syrians have become. Sacrificing their lives and die for others cause just to get legal papers. Just another kind of slavery.

Come on, am not denying that fighters r going to Libya, but seriously the citizenships story is old, they have been talking about with the 1st and 2nd coastal division since ages, I think the fighter who told u that is making things up ... even the salary number is not accurate

I personally know some of the commanders who got citizenship. With regards to future salaries and citizenship, I presented it as a claim by the fighters.

So Turkey isn't sending its own troops, it's sending mercenaries. Did the GNA know that it had signed up to that? 🤔

sending both. at least one lieutenant general as staff officer, air forces, and some other with a mission of "training" the "local" forces. So basically legions will be fighting under Turkish Army commend. We as the ordinary citizens do not know any details.
