A retirement age of 75 would be the highest in the world. In China it is 50 for women,60 for men, India 60, Norway,67, and war torn Libya 70. So these are the new opportunities for British people post Brexit promised by Iain Duncan Smith and Boris Johnson.

Just had my first Saturday night out in Manchester for 3 years! One thing I’ve learnt is my jeans should stop well short of my trainers and socks are a thing of past! 👴🏻

Looks brilliant and much needed support offer. Lots going on across the GM area, wondering how people who may need things like this, find out about it and other support offers.

Let me get this straight. An NHS nurse who is an EU national and happens to be on holiday won’t be able to get back into the UK? Are you serious? What an absolute disgrace of a government. Boris Johnson should be ashamed of himself.

Watched this yesterday, one of about 5 programmes I've watched this year, don't usually watch TV, but stumbled on this. It's warm, funny, human, life, banjos and Parkinsons speaking his truth. Superb.

First go at some graphs on the number of people 'in payment' of these benefits, by rough age band (all using the same vertical axis). First - children and young people with learning difficulties. All DLA, numbers steadily increasing over time 2/7

Parent carers whether they are part of a forum or not deserve better support. I was disappointed that there was no more focus than this in the whole carers action plan.

Reading this Only reference to support for parent carers is this: Support for parent carer forums. Is this enough?

Transition from primary to secondary has come through a number of conversations, as an area missing in GM plans too.

More 'acquisitions' in the care system - and no role for councils, govt or Ofsted to 'approve' if it's a good decision for children Care was not designed to be a market..and if it keeps simulating one it will end up in new monopolies, or it will collapse

A beautiful film from showing a father's love & a true understanding that preparing for adulthood starts early. 'You cannot put a limit on any child.'
