Second today our tech priests. In Masters of Gettown, healing characters currently double as the tank class, always maintaining high hp during battle and very hard to take down alone. Doc with a shotgun anyone :)

Today we have a double bill. First our mercenaries. These characters can fire off big damaging shots or a hail of bullets every turn but have some of the lowest health in the game making them the glass cannons of Gettown.

If they aimed to make the game version of the battles in the Pokemon cartoon rather than convert the entirety of Pokemon go into a clone of normal Pokemon, (much slower as turns), they could avoid doing an injustice to the only game that doesn’t recycle the same formula

With a two move limit to each Pokemon in the game, turn based will get a bit stale and will require every status move to have status effects. Maybe an action based version, the moves fire off when the button is released to allow the attacker to fool anyone trying to dodge?

My wife is always singing Disney in the shower and little mermaid is one of her favourites. “Look at these games, Aren’t they neat, Wouldn’t you say My collections complete?’ :)

I have just signed up for the iOS invite too. This is looking really polished from the screenshot guys. Can’t wait to help test it :)

For me pvp brings skill back in to the game like the old gym battle systems. Having it first would’ve meant that players were fighting with their own teams. Now, with such high prices in stardust to trade the only Pokemon worth battling with, it could end up pay to win for PvP

I imagine either the powers that be are restricting its introduction until the switch version is better established as the main place for PvP or, given the nature of the mechanics in Pokemon Go battles, they cannot figure out a good action battle system alternative to Pokemon

If that’s too quick please let me know (based it just over a day per second). I’ll work on my clips and message everyone at the end of the month to update as I know Janice is in stretch goal mode atm :)

Great range of characters! Are you just designing these for the practice or are they to feature in something?

You are on the list don’t you worry ;) To have a full experience, it’s best to play some 2 player and some 6 player games (if possible) as the balance of power shifts between the characters and equipment items, depending on the number of participants. (It took a lot of testing)

But are you saying they don’t send you a final quality proof until you have funded and paid for manufacture?? Surely that means if it’s no good, the whole process has to be reset costing more time between funding and delivery?

That’s interesting. The fact we can have a short run of review copies made is nice because producing them myself is very time consuming and much more expensive. Yours was the first Longpack manufactures game I have seen and I think we will probably go with them.

Would you have rather they released PVP first?
