Are you inviting all people to playtest this game or is it a closed group Sarah?

Like we started with orange red purple blue and lost the orange and purple, replacing them with black and white with opposite coloured pips. He is only red/green and I know many other types exist, so we may make a set that’s numbers instead of pips or one with custom symbols too

I have had a colourblind member of our playtest group for a long time and, even though we have made the dice colours ones he can differentiate, we are thinking of releasing a marked set of dice for colour blind players. As long as you know your dice, the game plays fine.

Replying to @PhongOdin
Thanks. I’m adventurous with coffee flavours but that would be a bit weird :)

Thanks so much mate ;) There are character cards and more if you check out the media on the profile page. We have real world debuffs like having to throw blind and with your wrist locked to the table, with more to come soon, so watch this space 👍

For now, the first expansion will have a more sci-fi fantasy look as it will be a co-op journey through the wastelands, in search of Past Masters of the tournament to fight and legendary weapons to collect and bring back to use in the arena. A true fantasy version is way off atm.

As the arena is acrylic, we supply plastic dice so that it doesn’t get damaged during play. We are planning on using a range of dice in the future combat rpg expansion, boss characters with giant wooden dice, tiny dice etc. We will be offering fancy colours for the engraved dice.

This week at Earth To Games, we have been stream lining our game components. As this is the world’s introduction to the concept of battling, we have postponed our ‘bleed’ effect to feature in the expansion so players can concentrate on smashing each other’s dice.

Loving the new character art and the rooms are looking great. I too know the feeling of developing over a distance. I’m in cornwall south England and Dan my co-dev lives in Ireland. It’s nice being able to split testing between our groups, he tests 2-4 player games, I test 4-6

I agree with your card art sentiment. Was nice thinking microbrew = micropeople, but the new art, especially the beer card, look great and, I guess having more realistic people on the cards, increases the feeling of bigger scale to the game.

Oh man :/ This set up reminds me of the ‘Commander’ way o playing Magic the gathering. You try and amass a fleet without appearing on other player’s radars, a little attack here and bit of negotiations there to stay alive. Now I need 2 copies to try this out. Thanks bud ;)

How many players were playing? Sounds like a multiway. I’ve never gone beyond a two player setup. What else should I be weary of in multiway games bud?

Yup. As English speakers, we need to know the gender of objects to learn polish/ German / French, which is such an alien concept. For them we have many more words to learn, words with the same spelling but multiple meanings. Why don’t we have Babel fish yet? Lol

Oh man. There are always those points where you buy like a string of three cards and then, when you are out of trade, a beast of a ship drops in to the last empty slot and your opponent gets it. You can counter this by buying explorers and not changing the trade row on your turn.
