Perhaps an additional lane for those who simply wish to check their phones and turn around a lot?

against stopping suddenly and/or suddenly turning around when you're walking on a pavement. In fact let's go the whole hog and introduce a pedestrian "driving" test. If you can't manage simple etiquette, stay at home.

Goes without saying that this is inhumane from the Tories, but I suggest that it’s politically stupid too. They need to demonstrate that Brexit is not part of some insular, nationalistic culture war - so showing compassion to child refugees would be a wise thing to do.

There remains the issue of taste or rather, lack thereof. I’ll wager you think skimmed milk is “alright actually”.

Does your technique involve minimal edge dunking followed by the classic nibble?

Oh come on! Rich tea is the blandest biscuit going and they won’t tolerate a proper dipping. They go soggy and floppy in the steam never mind the brew. Even if you double up!

Double dunking. That’s a technique. If it’s a Lincoln biscuit then obviously you nibble around the edges in a circular manner. Bourbon or custard cream it’s the classic “split & scrape”. Rich Tea, just chuck it in the bin.

It's bad for the bank balance. Having re-tasted this morning, I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Nice on a spoon. Probably not great on toast. Added to porridge maybe.

Tea needs to be made with boiling water so obviously milk goes in last.
