Me too. I can spend all day outside doing yard work in June and come back inside a little pink and tanned but not with a raging sunburn πŸ₯΅as I used to expect.

It’s like there is an impenetrable force field around using diet for anything other than vitamin possibly deficiency.

Portion size is important when it comes to junk food just like bullet size is important when it comes to gunshot wounds.

Worse still are the docs who have really never seen a patient.

I think The safest thing for any doc to do on Twitter is deny we’ve ever seen patients. Can’t be too careful ya know.

My in-laws used to buy the Passover cereals. They’d buy Passover Froot Loops. My mom never bought that stuff. I would have salted margarine on matzah or peanut butter for breakfast during Passover.😬

Matzah/matzah ball soup and Charoset took my ketosis down a couple pegs. I’d been scoring 7 all month until the morning after the Seder. Keyto level only 5 this morning.😱

The last bullet point is plain backwards. They’ve always halfheartedly said, β€œIf diet and lifestyle doesn’t work then try drug X”. This is the opposite: If drugs don’t work, cut carbs.
