We are getting more and more customers that want “clean” foods...by that I mean no pesticides/herbicides used on the grasses our cattle graze on. The taste of our beef may not be any better than CAFO beef to them...it is the validation that we don’t use chemicals they desire.

I found it very interesting although the target audience for this book is farmers/environmentalists. It does go deeper into ag business specifics than I need but for farmers it’s probably just right.

Books like this will help raise awareness of the shortcomings that conventional practices has on the land,water, producers and consumers. Hopefully holistic management will become the standard rather than a boutique style of raising all types of food.

I got away with my entire life. Yesterday I made several omelettes with pasture eggs. Shells are much harder than supermarket eggs. That was more shells than the drain would accept.
