I'm a simple cause precedes effect guy. Imo, it's natural for us to overreach, create complex systems we don't understand and then when they 'sorta' work meddle with them some more trying to improve. Without understanding. Thus you get stuff like Chernobyl.

Cause predicts effect is a very sensible human scale way of thinking, it just happens to be drastically wrong on a molecular / cosmic scale, where cause/effect are nonlinear + gravitational forces imo.

Also, nonlinearity isn't a problem. Epidemics & other snowballing phenomena are nonlinear but perfectly understandable to most advanced ape brains. Effects from the future causing things in the past wouldn't be just non-linear. My math vocab is at loss here.

So what body fat % do I need to attain for you to trust me how much? Quantified as a donation to CFAR, let's say.

I'd donate one monthly income of mine if you went to 15% body fat. It's not that much absolutely; I have untreated ADD of some sort and my job is low-paid. Additionally, if you maintained that for two years, I'd donate two more average monthly incomes (from more recent averages)

So, best case $500 if you magically lost weight now and then maybe $2000 or possibly $5000, depends on whether I find better work in the meantime.
