Interesting work by Nazem Akoum on fibrosis on MRI in patients without AF. Will this turn out to predict future AF or stroke? Looking forward to this great work!

So, do you think the results of these meta-analyses are enough to move up AF ablation for HF patients in the guidelines?

A7 difference may be between primary and secondary prevention/association studies of caffeine for AF. Caffeine seems not assd c new incident AF but 25%+ of AF pts report it as a trigger.

A4 need to tailor exercise to what pts can do, but I ask them to target according to the impressive results on AF burden from Prash Sanders’ grp: 10% wt loss and 2 MET increase in fitness. Thanks Prash and your group for starting and inspiring this whole field!

We’ve slicked up a pathway through Preventive Cardiology to get patients seen by a dietician and an exercise physiologist for an exercise prescription. They get a baseline exercise test, screen for OSA, address RFs. I always introduce this in my clinic though.

Q1 obesity is a common subject for n my clinic now a days, even on a first visit. Though perhaps information overloaded a lot of people appreciate knowing there is something they can work on. I think often at least a mention is important.
