Slept like a king at the Kentucky Castle last night. The new restaurant was delicious and the room was unreal. More people should know it's now open to anyone for dinner or overnighters. (Take your ladies, guys.)

Absolutely agree. Building resilience and taking care of ourselves is VERY important....I just think the discussion is lopsided...

We need fewer talks on building resilience and way more on how to fix our God awful shitty mess of a healthcare system—the cause of the burnout. There, I said it. (Closing Twitter now...night night) 👍

Best option is to lose weight (if indicated), exercise, and eat a sensible diet. If I could do it over again I would have done a cardiac CT to eval for calcium score. Another HUGE risk factor I ignored was snoring/OSA. Get thee to a doctor. And get your cholesterol checked 👍

The piece by (huge crush 😬) is called for I believe because the public is getting a really distorted view of “medicine”. And the show just has God awful shitty writing...worst ever! My 1.5 cents. Not worth much.

IMO, most of the shows are pretty bad. Although a little over the top (at times), ER does have an element of “realness” to it. And the humor of Scrubs is fairly spot on. G. Anatomy is a soap opera and The Resident is...well, I don’t what it is.
