Mrs. Buck’s humor, dedication, compassion, and heart will never be forgotten. She has touched so many with her kindness and I feel unbelievably lucky to have had her as both a teacher and a coach. She has left a legacy that will go on forever ❤️

Mrs Buck sent a beautiful email during remote learning that was very encouraging to my student. I appreciated her kind words so much. My deepest sympathy to her family.

FHS Salutes You: You know you were a well-loved teacher when even folks at a rival school district knew your name and sang your praises. RIP, Lakota East math teacher and coach Judy Buckenmyer, with respect from the Fairfield staff. You will be missed.

I didn’t have a picture of Mrs. Buck and myself but I came across a picture of her and my mom. She created a difference in so many lives including my own as a teacher and a friend. She gave us lessons on how to be better everyday. Heaven gained a angel. 😇

I’ve had few people in my life show me as much compassion as Mrs. Buckenmyer. She was all of her students’ biggest cheerleader and had the biggest heart for . Heaven gained the greatest angel. Rest In Peace Mrs. Buck and thank you for everything

RIP Mrs. Buck. You made East a better place. You supported your students in every way possible. You never missed a football game and I saw you in the stands at other games. You got to know students on a personal level and cared about everyone. You'll be missed.

I was looking forward to playing on the new paved court at East with Mrs. Buck. If I had bit more time to see Mrs. Buck, I would congratulate her on her retirement again, thank her again for all the support inside/ outside of class, and hit a couple balls around at East❤️

Mrs. Buck was the only teacher that stayed all the way through to some of my tennis matches, no matter how cold or warm it was. She would ask me after class to teach her how to play and last winter at the b-ball game she asked me again to hit around when summer starts.

Gone too soon. You are truly one of the most genuine and good hearted women this world has seen. We’d all be lucky to leave a lasting and meaningful impact on even half the people she did in her time on earth. You will live on in the hearts of so many. RIP Judy Buckenmyer ❤️
