Today's : What's 16% of 25? Hard to work out mentally. But it's the same as 25% of 16 (easy, a quarter of 16=4). A% of B is always the same as B% of A, so use this to your advantage. (This was nicely covered on two weeks ago).

So, I'm in Waitrose. The Q at the fish counter is very long. Maybe it's the 20% off. There is no Q at the meat counter where it's 1/3 off. Maybe offers should be as % and not as fractions? Maybe it's because schools only use pizzas for fractions?

Dyscalculia & Maths Resources For Adults - Dyscalculia Blog. I suggest using ⁦⁩ Dyscalculia checklist rather than the educational psychologist’s free Dyscalculia assessment in this blog.⁦

I built my tutorials on the wise words of a 10 year old Australian student "I like maths when I get it right. I don’t like getting maths wrong. You should show me how to get my errors right by giving me a strategy.” So much to learn from our students!

Among the erudite responses to my question about assessing for dyslexia as an add-on when assessing for dyscalculia, an esteemed friend/researcher tells me that recent research there suggests 34-56% comorbidity, depending on how the dyscalculia is measured.
