Will slag play a major part in this game or will it be more like Borderlands 1?

There is no slag - we replaced it with something that actually makes a little sense. The new “element” damage type, which is like a nuclear radiation effect, has a similar effect to slag (increased vulnerability by those affected) and also has a damage-over-time component.

That is awesome to hear, I definitely enjoy the Borderlands 1 scaling vs 2, assuming there will be DLC to increase lvl caps, will it be higher than 72 this time around?

Crying was confirmed in one of the trailers as atleast an enemy damage type, seen by the big baddy spraying crying everywhere in one of the scenes, no confirmation on using it on gear tho

I like the sound of "crying" my enemies to death!

I hope we can still play the harder difficulties without slag/nuclear and moxxi weapons

"Bloodwing's got ALL the elements at her disposal! Fire! Electricity! Corrosion! Slag! And... ah, damn, I forgot the last one. What the hell was that, again?" "Oh yeah, Element!?"

Honest question: why not just keep slag and give it the damage-over-time? Purple is a lot easier to identify against other element colors than radiation's color. Radiation's yellow-green vs. corrosive's green, or vs. explosive's yellow. Just saying, easier to fix what's there.

Radiation is invisible in real life. How do you know what color we used in the game?

You can literally see explosive barrels with a radioactive symbol in one of the trailers.

But the dot? Anyway, I appreciate the passion and concern, but I do not think this is a debate worth having.

We also have acid bullets... but you knew that?

Not much a debate as it is a suggestion. Color blind people exist, too!

I'm not trying to start a war here lmao. It's a simple suggestion to continue established imagery that stands out more, if you're passing on that suggestion that's fine. But yeah corrosive is green.

I’m saying you should wait until you feel how the effect works before passing judgment.
