We don’t need to call a 53week old an “infant” or “baby” make this scene more horrifying. Separating a 4.5 year old from its parents is in many ways WORSE!

After 8 hours of yard work, all I want is a Juicy Watermelon. Tried two stores and gave up. When will it be in stores? More importantly, when will it be in my fridge?!

Even if you’re not a parent, it isn’t hard to imagine the mind bending horror of your child being ripped from your arms as she cries, screams, and begs the border guard to stop. Please please don’t do this Mr. President. THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE.

I know very little about immigration or border patrol, but I know a few things about children and families. Folks, SEPARATING CHILDREN FROM THEIR PARENTS IS CRUEL AND INHUMANE. What is doing is absolutely horrifying.

At Senate Judiciary this week, Costoms and Border Patrol (CBP) said they’d separated 658 children from their parents in TWO WEEKS. If you think this protects us, rather than being horrified, please look deeper into your heart.

The statement continued: “Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated case. It shouldn’t require an incident involving a professional athlete to draw attention to the fact that vulnerable people in our communities have experienced similar, and even worse, treatment.”
