It shows more than boomers, less than GenX. I also don’t believe in shaming people about not participating in a broken system that has repeatedly failed them. I believe in the importance of voting but I also believe capitalism has destroyed our election system.

My Netflix prank show idea: Women agreeing to meet up with the guys that send them unsolicited dick pics, but when the guy arrives, its actually their mother waiting for them.

Yes! I felt that scene in my soul! I’ve been there so much when it came to the β€œno cops at Pride” movements which seem to produce a real racial/generational divide within queer spaces.

Thank you. As a queer white male who has only been out for a few months, this is gold! I have interacted in queer spaces and have noticed how oriented toward whiteness most of of those spaces are. I will be sharing your writing and listening for your voice.

Disappointing to see disability studies scholars supporting the recent push in the UK to create a moral panic around what anti-trans* folks have called "transgender ideology." This when the best disability studies scholarship is now taking intersectional & transversal approaches.

This journal (not at all representative of disability studies in the UK or elsewhere) has also published pieces attacking the communication strategies of nonspeaking people. A pattern of exclusion.

As a disability studies scholar I’m asking others in my field to stop submitting to, citing, or reviewing for for until the editorial board deals with the public transphobic work of its editor . There is no place for transphobia in disability studies.
