Asymmetric advice: Advice from someone who can’t use it. -A rich person saying “Money isn’t everything.” -A fit person saying “Beauty is on the inside.” -A powerful person saying “Stop caring what others think of you.” It’s easy to give advice when you don’t face the downside.

Policies and govt should make life easier for its citizens, but they only take the easy way out. Problems that are larger & need to be addressed at a structural level are solved by putting the responsibility on one individual/family.

What if there was one other scenario in this thread – A 40 y/o woman with 2 daughters, and finds out she is pregnant with a female foetus. She's struggling with debt from dowry of her first daughter's wedding & does not want to have a girl child. Does she "deserve" an abortion?

So very true! Thanks for speaking about this openly. It is so unfortunate that a woman and HER reproductive rights are bombarded with so many political agendas that it diminishes her reproductive agency.

We are so proud of to come out as the first openly athlete in . While the days following her coming out have been marred with controversy, including non support from her family, she has continued to stay strong. She is truly inspirational!
