We should be designing systems to ensure coverage, not to cut people off when they can't jump through a hoop. Thanks to everyone who helped pass to protect CA! via

I am so proud of my daughter Valerie Munoz, she was just sworn in to her re-election for the city of La Puente. She was also elected to represent the City Council as Mayor. I love you, mija.

Congratulations to the new members of the State Legislature that will be sworn in today. Key words of advice — you’ll feel like you're drinking water through a fire hose, so be patient with yourself. Rely on experience. Most importantly, do what's best for your constituents.

My heart breaks to hear of the shooting in Thousand Oaks. 12 people were killed, including Sergeant Ron Helus. I stand with the victims, families and law enforcement during this horrible time. We must not let this become the new norm. We must act.
