Not often. Trumpet is one of the seven instruments I play (including French horn, melaphone, bugle, guitar, ukulele, and harmonica.) Brass instruments don't mix well with sleeping babies, so I've focused more on the quiet ukulele recently.

My dad was an accomplished trumpeter who studied under Doc Severinsen. I picked it up (as my third instrument) in high school. And today my son played his first notes - on my dad's trumpet. Some moments in life just make you very happy.

As a check to your perspective, from where I'm sitting in the conversation, you, Jamal, appear to be the one causing the problems. I value your insight and perspective, but would appreciate it if you could keep things respectful.

Don't: focus on visuals, use images of sticky notes on the way, be murky about your contributions to a project. Do: showcase the process, tell me about YOUR work within that process, and how it affected the success of the team and product.

I'm not sure I have any real hacks. The one thing I do that I find helps me is to use colors when taking notes. Colors make things easier to remember and find.

We already have a volunteer team of 30 UX professionals, leaders, educators, and students from around the world helping to make it a reality. Considering that is the glue that binds us all together, I'd love to get them involved somehow!

Hey - a group of us wonderful folks who met on Twitter are talking about putting together a conference/megameetup for the UX Twitterverse. Any chance I could pick your brain on the topic?
