Andrew Kaplan – Spy Thriller (prequel the Homeland TV series) Carrie's Run (Prequel 1) & Saul's Game ( 2) - Edge of your seat prequel’s based on the award-winning television series Homeland. I couldn't put them down, these books are great spy thrillers based on current issues.

Skin Deep by Liz Nugent - I have enjoyed her previous novels and this one was no exception. She has a nack of drawing you in with interesting female characters that you think about days later. They have so horrid personalities, no endearing features but you can't help but read on

The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton - Blatant sexism of the time (1960's) gives an authentic ring to WPC Loveday's attempts to solve the crime and the gothic undertones of ancient witchcraft create an eerie atmosphere with a surprising twist at the end. Highly recommended.

Our House by Louise Candlish - The way the book is written took a few chapters to get the hang of but it worked really well, the plot line is really different with lots of twists and turns. The ending felt slightly rushed, but I would definitely recommend this book to others.

It was great taking the National Week book on tour! Great idea too to invite the families so they could all make the owl headbands together. 🦉👩‍👩‍👦‍👦
