Watch out for signs of heatstroke in your dog during this ! Be extra careful with very young, old and overweight dogs, dogs with shorter muzzles/flatter faces or dogs with breathing difficulties, as they may find it more difficult to keep themselves cool.

Never EVER leave your dog alone in a car. Even if the car is parked in the shade and the windows are left down, it does VERY little to keep the temperature in the car low. Find our more summer safety tips for your dog by visiting our website!

Thank you so much for the kind offer. To minimize people visiting us and ensure we are adhering to the government 5km essential trips only advice, we are unfortunately unable to accept these right now! We hope to be able to accept them again soon if you can hold on to them 🐾

If you suspect your dog is suffering from heatstroke, contact your vet immediately-the sooner this happens, the better! Visible signs of heatstroke include excessive/rapid panting, loss of coordination/vision & vomiting or diarrhoea amongst others

During warmer weather it is especially important to make sure your dog has access to a plenty of clean water! Adding a few ice-cubes to your dog’s water bowl will help keep their water cooler for longer!

As the weather heats up, learn how you can help your dog stay cool this summer! We all love some sunshine but remember dogs can’t cool down the same way as us humans, so this heat can quickly become dangerous for them!
