Toews and Spoon are playing really well in B'port. Nice to see the Sound Tigers stomping on some teams for a change, even if they do give up a goal to Jan Kovar every single time we play Providence. But I understand not calling a guy up if this is just one game out for 3.

Just saying, postponing a game due to field conditions when there is any easy make up date isn't exactly a "massive" story. It's a shoulder shrug and move on.

With everything going on right now, I'm not sure postponing a football game due to field conditions qualifies as a "massive" story, even to those of us obsessed with fantasy football. Maybe if there was concern about wildfires engulfing the field during the game, but not this.

Pelech earned that seat in the press box against Florida, but was he "Play Sbisa bad?" Ugh. Unanswerable question. At least he wasn't sign Seidenberg bad.

spent the same money on bringing back Grabner. Would have had as much impact if not more on the PK, and been better 5 on 5. Plus is just fun to have on your team.

Of all of the questionable/bad moves Lou made this offseason, this contract is the worst, even taking letting de Haan go and the 4 year Johnston deal into consideration, because at least we have D in the pipeline and Johnston can be buried in the AHL with no cap hit. Should've

Everyone makes a big deal about Matt Martin making the Cizikas/Clutter line the beat 4th line in hockey, but losing Kulemin last year was a significant part of our demise. Great penalty killer and solid defender. Not surprised to see him do well in the K.

In the day when we had Soriano as our closer for the year, I loved the "untuck". Just a little something extra to make a win more enjoyable. This is sports, for crying out loud, not the UN. Have a little damn fun.

Disagree. I love the engagement with the home fans. I miss that we don't even do the Yes! Yes! Yes! after a home win anymore. Wonder if that had more to do with Lou coming than JT leaving. I suspect the former. The Canes are doing it as an acknowledgement to their fans. Like back

Kubiak really surpassed him on the depth chart? Didn't see that coming.

Kindergartener's assignment: disguise this turkey using any means necessary. This is what the 5 year old and I can't up with. I think we need help.

Total BS. Andujar had far more impact this year. Same way Pettitte was robbed way back when.

They have 20, but are up 1-0 on the Stars right now. We do have 18, but have a game in hand (2 GsIH after tonight) on Columbus.

True, but depending on the outcome of the Blue Jackets game tonight, could still jump back into first tomorrow night with a win. still have the best Goal differential in the division.

If by “right now” you mean teams currently playing, i.e. excluding baseball teams, then absolutely.

You have to watch a replay of one - the Levert injury or that halftime show. Which do you choose?

Oh my god, yes. I was wondering if I was the only one suffering through that debacle of a halftime show. Wanted to cut them some slack since I think they were actual soldiers, but.. woof.

Pretty sure they’ve been icing them all season in practice, and the reporters just sort of ignore the Sbisa-Seidenberg 4th pair. I will have an epic meltdown when they inevitably sign Seidenberg instead of calling up Toews.

I love the fact that you changing your allegiance has only resulted in you being twice as frustrated this season.
