UK MPs: Even an FTA which eliminates *ALL* tariffs and sees the EU fully recognise *ALL* UK rules wouldn't eliminate the need for customs checks in the Irish Sea. If you're voting for a deal that includes such checks believing they'll never be needed, you have been ill advised.

If you need an analogy to understand this concept, consider a football stadium. A tariff eliminating FTA is like being mailed an unlimited season pass. The CU/SM is like having your house towed inside the stadium grounds.

It's about NI, so no they don't. All the principled words about union went out the window the moment throwing NI under the bus to preserve the GB trade deals fantasy became an option
