Important question is: stability for whom? Certainly not for 's political opposition, its journalists, human rights activists and civil society groups. Not for critics or dissidents, and certainly not for the long-term development of the country.

Yes. More observing than covering though. The fact that it’s been relatively stable means that intl. missions will keep looking the other way while effectively remains a one-party state.
