Not worrisome. Some Euro pro leagues, such as the SHL, are tough, and Skelleftea is deep at forward. Hard to score when you're only getting 5-6 minutes per game on the 4th line

Hasek gets unfairly critiqued because he never won a Cup in Buffalo, but those were *awful* teams. How awful? When Hasek dragged them to the 1998 Eastern Final their leading playoff scorers were Donald Audette (!) and Matthew Barnaby (!!!)

Ah yes, that very normal and common trend in sports highlights: fast-motion replays

People got this right: Claude Giroux. This surprised me a bit, considering how little league-wide attention Giroux gets. Last season he cracked 100 points, which players rarely do these days, and outscored players like Malkin, Hall and Ovechkin. Shame he doesn't get more love

Pop quiz for hockey Twitter: without looking this up or reading replies to this tweet, who finished 2nd in NHL scoring last season behind Connor McDavid?

The President is making baseless accusations of fraud and calling for the vote count to be stopped while his political allies are ahead. What would you say if you saw it in another country?

That's what I love about Krebs. Never seen him take a shift off, let alone a game. He's skilled, but also plays like a 4th liner with a chip on his shoulder

Yep. I've seen both Dach and Cozens look lazy for long stretches... BUT I've also seen both guys make plays that one in a million hockey players could pull off. That's what's most important

Dach is the one with that reputation, so this might surprise you, but I've seen Cozens twice this season and he looked completely disinterested in five of the six periods. I was kind of shocked, wondering where the guy I loved at the Hlinka went to

Maybe it was just the one game, but I saw Dach earlier this season here in Calgary and he was absolutely unstoppable. Looked just amazing in all three zones, almost better in the NZ than in the OZ, if that's possible. If he can do that every game... wow

I like Krebs a lot... but Top 5 overall? That's quite high. Heck, he's only 4th on my list of WHL guys (Dach, Cozens, Byram and then Krebs), let alone the whole draft class

The last two goals in this highlight package are of a primary assist and a goal by Riley Tufte, and all I can say is 👀

Bit of a mixed game today for Brett Davis. Scored a goal (an A+ wrist shot top corner. Really impressive) and had an assist, but both were on the power play. I didn't like his level of effort overall, and he made more than a few sloppy plays with the puck

prospect Curtis Douglas started the season slow but has really picked things up as of late. He scored a natural hat trick today (all three goals came in the 1st period), giving him 7 goals over his past 6 games
