Thanks for listening, I hope we can get some constructive action to sort these issues out and feedback on progress, as this has been causing severe hassle to people for several years now (at various out of the way units). Cheers, E

2) fallback to whitelist is pointless if it too relies on a broken link. Fallback to free vend is the only way to prevent this sort of thing happening with regularity.

Important to raise: fashion emissions are equivalent to maritime shipping and aviation combined. Doubling the length of time clothes are worn would halve them. has to slow right down.

These InstaVolt chargers are brilliant! Charging both our Leafs side by side and they are very easy to use, just swipe your credit card at it and press go (all chargers should be like this and ultimately will be). Well done , top points for ease of use. :)

The 🔋 is charging and powering the house. Should have plugged the car in earlier, though, the darker blue bars are where our power was going to the grid. Tall red spikes are where the car is charging, partly from the and partly from the grid.

During my walk along the beach this morning I think the penny has dropped regarding 's wind farm plan. Instead of buying more Solar PV or battery for the house, it makes so much more sense to own part of a wind farm.

This really is incredible. The world’s biggest ever offshore wind farm is being built right now. Electricity from the first turbines to go up began supplying the grid this week 💚💪💨

Might breach the Nissan Leaf warranty (don’t know, important question), but can imagine rural owners filling in SORN and leaving an immobile old EV car up on bricks just plugged into the house/farm as a battery - cheaper than official Nissan xStorage recycled Leaf battery?

Replying to @philroberts @OVOEnergy
Actually no. 6kw is next to nothing, we stay at 6kw because it is a generally accepted number for how fast you charge an EV at home. The more power we put in the bigger and more expensive the unit becomes and less likely the consumer has spare main fuse capacity anyway.

Sounds promising - maybe I should save my money and buy a charger in a year or so (whenever they’re generally available), rather than buying a domestic stationary battery soon... the downside of rapid technological changes - decision paralysis! 😉

In the OVO trial, yes. According to Nissan restricted them to at least 30kWh Nissan Leaf (& perhaps 2016 model onwards?) But I agree, even a 24kWh would be great for , eg if usually come home from work with 5kWh spare for the house each evening
