Yes, I can relate. I try to book early to get the best rates for my speaker bookers so I keep a separate file of travel details with a plastic wallet for each talk including train, hotel and any venue details

Bar staff required for busy local pub. It’s not just about pouring drinks, you must be friendly, well presented, hard working and be prepared to put your hands to all the tasks required to run a bar.

I have to do an awful lot of work in the kitchen when my in-laws visit. The cooking/tidying process seems to take a disproportionate amount of time when they’re here.

It's taken me 45 trips around the sun, but for the first time in my life I know what it feels like to have a "band-aid" in my own skin tone. You can barely even spot it in the first image. For real I'm holding back tears.

It is five years & six days since Nigel Farage pledged to have his parliamentary allowances audited by an independent accountant. He lies as easily as most of us breathe and interviewers seem to be calling it out even less than last time round.

Message to Farage supporters spouting out their British exceptionalism: As a UK cancer specialist I can categorically state that advances in cancer treatment come from international collaboration. We improved radiotherapy services in Middlesbrough by visiting Dutch/German centres

Ouch! Time to make those clothes last even longer. "The apparel and footwear industries together account for more than 8% of global climate impact, greater than all international airline flights and maritime shipping trips combined."

I was going to tweet about some of the brilliant people you’ve left out. There are so many that it made me remember what a great place this is to live. Some are doing big things and others are doing small, quiet things to make their little part of the world happier.

I have worked on a few holiday hunger projects before. It’s a massive issue in the UK. Nice to be able to shine a light here on some great local schemes. 🥗🍎

We were doing kind of OK until a decade of austerity ripped the guts out of local services, terrorised the poor, and fomented racist panic while millionaires filled their pockets. And only kind of OK before that, frankly.
