Agree but his story of why he and the family went on a jolly to Barnard Castle was a joke. All he and the PM had to do was accept it, apologise and it would of gone away in a few days. To try justify it is a mistake they will regret.

Did he put his child’s health, safety and welfare first when he embraced on a 60 mile round trip North on his wife’s birthday to a local beauty spot apparently to see if his ‘eyesight was good enough’ to drive back to London the next day...what a load of Bollox

You do not go for a drive with your child and family anywhere if you are concerned about your eyesight let alone 30 miles to one of the North East’s most popular tourist areas.... bullshit!!

The press need reeling in, whether DC was right or wrong in his actions this is out of order and clearly breaking all social distancing guidelines🤷🏻‍♂️

He broke the spirit of the government guidelines and he and the government are using the small print to try justify his actions. You and the government should just admit that and he should accept it and apologis. If not this will damage the government and PM’s credibility.

If anything he broke the spirit of the advice of the government and should of stayed put and isolated. Was it an error of judgement…probably, he needs to accept that apologise and get on with how we come out of lockdown safely.
