Nice. “Outlaw Overtones” is a title I can hang with!

Here is a link to Alexander's excellent self-titled (and self-released) recent album. Definitely one to dive into if you haven't already, and one of my favorites of the last couple of years:

Excellent show coming up at Low Vintage & Records (in Charlottesville) on Mon., Feb 26: Alexander, Grand Banks, and one TBD that I am very excited about (and hope to announce soon). Alexander is one of my favorite guitarists out there right now, going to be a great night.

Means a lot to see this comp come together and make its way out into the world. Jam it loud and proud. Also, copies are limited and moving so if you are into having the tape itself you might wanna grip it in the short term.

Nah. Didn't have real TV/Cable for years. Been using shows like this to make myself work out though, so maybe this will be on the list for that.

Still never seen The Wire. Some day I will go on a spree.

Reminder: massive comp benefitting Charlottesville causes close to the Aug. 11 & 12 counter-protests coming soon. This means a lot to us (Grand Banks). It's been a rough stretch but we are still kicking. Amazing line-up, gonna jam it proudly

You have done this service for me as well. Still missing copies of some of my stuff via the CDR phase of self documentation.

Scope out this charity-comp on feat. HausMo artists MrDougDoug, Long Distance Poison, and Hexbreaker Quartet (Grasshopper + Mr. Matthews). All proceeds go to Showing Up for Racial Justice Charlottesville and Tyler Magill's medical fund.

I'm proud to have contributed a track to this anti-racist/anti-fascist compilation benefitting SURJ Charlottesville. Listen, buy, support. Local label went all out with a double cassette edition. End Racism, Destroy Fascism.

Though I haven't gotten to tune into this yet we can all assume that it rules. Gonna dig into that archive when I get a chance, but hey you should too!

I indulged a lot of 80s and 90s at one point in my life (cause it was the 80s and 90s). Not any more hah hah! And yeah, seemed to work alright for me in the 70s.

Sure seemed like it when all I had were tapes and CDs I could trade with folks in my near vicinity.

It can be OK but man when Bobby takes license to vocalize on that song it goes really far south of what I can hang with these days. I have an extremely low Bobby-vocal tolerance at this point. Zero tolerance for Bobby slide guitar.

Ehh, I won't go into too much detail but the symbol is a scale in balance. So yeah, diplomatic, sees both sides of things, balanced, etc. etc.
