The police told the man to move his car from a single yellow line. The man refused because he had a blue badge and was parked legally. So the police beat him until he was unconscious. This was in London.

In 2010 a cop failed to secure his saddle and fell off his horse. Two students were grabbed, beaten up, and prosecuted for pulling him down, and were publicly condemned by David Cameron. The Met later had to pay them £25k each when footage exonerated them.
