MaaS news: Augsburg is the first German city to offer a subscription of mobility services, including unlimited rail, bus, and bikeshare + 15 hrs of carshare for €79/mo. Note: no ride hail/e-scooters in the package.
For a fixed monthly fee, residents of Augsburg will have access to buses, trains, rental bikes andΒ car sharing within the city.

I don't know Augsburg, but half an hour a day of carshare seems pretty high. But I guess they can charge more that way and then most people will use a lot less than their allowance.

Thanks for sharing. Do we know the financial component of the package, as in, is this being subsidized, and are the providers offering their MaaS at discounts?

All components are basically run by the public transit company itself. They do not want to become dependent on neither private nor other public providers (e.g. deutsche Bahn)
