And in context: even that "more generous" $7000 limit equates to the cost of *one* course -or- a few month's rent in housing.

Keeping busy this : “Women veterans are the fastest growing population of veterans across the country and about 20 percent of new military recruits are women, Goldstein said, adding it’s important for them to be visible.”

"It suddenly felt like I was the first woman coming home from combat and that was not the case..." The awesome on her homecoming. "suddenly I felt like I didn't have a home" A feeling I know many (most?) women who walk into a VA feel. Especially that first time.

May this imperfect experiment we call America roll on, borne on the backs of its service members, citizens, and all those who would call it home. And also Happy Armistice Day to my veteran pals outside the US. I've worked with a few of you...and I guess y'all are alright too.

Happy Veterans' Day to all who've served & are serving. Thanks for giving your blood, sweat, knee cartilage, any hope of avoiding arthritis, your years, sanity, comforts, hearing, & often your limbs, your love, and your life. I hope for you, like me, it was well worth it.

Wishing a peaceful, happy, and reflective Veterans Day to all those who have served and their families... esp considering the centennial of Armistice. I had the luck to visit Ypres, Flanders, and Belleau Wood (+Bastogne) while at NATO... thinking on that today
