this represents a strong effort by friends of Claire Perry to get the onshore wind lobby off her back through creating the impression that something will be done when really it isn't

Remember what they said: 'It is overwhelmingly in the EU’s - particularly Germany’s - interests to agree a friendly UK-EU free trade deal.'

As much as I oppose us leaving the EU I am not supporting a cause that is couched in ageist terms. Why can't a replacement also be old?

C) the Export Tariff is not a subsidy. It’s separate and distinct from the FIT for generation, & is simply a guarantee of payment for clean power exported to the grid. BEIS proposals see households donating this for free so suppliers can sell it on to others without paying for it

also companies that give corporate PPAs to projects that would exist anyway because of RO or FiTs are claiming meaningless green cred. There needs to be greater understanding that it's so-called 'subsidy free' corporate PPAs that count. The rest is greenwash!

It's perfectly rational - in order to distinguish this from so-called 'flat whites' (an originally ozzie name then used by u-know-who), lattes etc that have lots of froth
