UK government proposes, on same day, no payments for solar electricity exports and no planning need for fracking. No export payments for surplus solar power exported to the grid ignores the recent EU Directive on renewables, supportive of solar prosumers.

Next round of bidding will see Australian large solar PV system cost below A$1 per Watt, that’s $0.74 = € 0.63 ! ARENA says that translates to A$ 50-60 per MWh = $0.04/kWh = €0.035/kWh. I’d guess it’s below that.
