Thx to NSW community. Complying with Covid19 safety measures has seen Zero Covid19 cases to 8pm last night. No locally acquired cases. No internationally acquired cases. No interstate acquired cases. A very good day. But no vaccine & no treatment = no room for complacency.

Welcome victory for justice and the victims of abuse worldwide. 👇🏼 👉After 6 yrs and 70+ court hearings, Malka Leifer will have to face her accusers in an Australian court. ✅Full credit to those victims who have campaigned relentlessly for this day.

111,000 jobs were created in August & the unemployment rate fell from 7.5% to 6.8%. While this is encouraging, many Australians are still doing it tough. The Morrison Government continues to focus on the road to recovery & getting Australians back into work.

This was a massively significant day for peace in the Middle East. Rejectionists and those who believe in conflict and division lose. Pragmatists and those who believe in peace and coexistence win. Full credit to Trump Administration for this remarkable diplomatic achievement.

I’m opposed to the death penalty in all circumstances and at all times, but Iran’s secret execution of the young, talented and politically active Navid Afkari seems especially cruel and horrific.

Australia today is mourning the passing of John Fahey, an Australian and Liberal original. He was truly one of a kind, who gave more than he received and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.

Another welcome victory for pragmatism and positive-sum thinking in the Middle East. ➡️ Warmer relations between Israel and the Arab world are good for Israel, good for the Arab world, and ultimately good for the Palestinian National cause.
