If for no other reason, the critical teaching shortage in Duval is a reason that 's funding being stripped still makes no sense from a talent/business standpoint. Our school board should reassess and let common-sense be their guide.

Florida blew California out of the water. The truth is, reform has worked in places like Florida and Texas. California is way behind because they would not embrace reform. There are massive improvements to be made, but we need more ingenuity, reform and smarter uses of resources.

Funding is always a part of the equation but not the answer. Massachusetts has the highest scores in the country. They fund schools without a doubt. However, among 4th grade African American and Hispanic students, Florida had the highest scores in the country, higher than Mass.

The NAEP scores mandated by the U.S. Department of Education have Florida going from one of the worst states in 1998 to one of the best states in 2017. In 1998, Florida was tied for 44th in 4th grade reading scores. In 2017, Florida was 7th. The scores have skyrocketed since '99.

RIP the Big Dog, Steve Duemig. I grew up listening to the Big Dog and Chris Thomas in the Tampa area. They had a little kid calling up about the Rays, Bolts, and Bucs. The Big Dog was truly one of the best. Sad to hear about his passing. Prayers and peace to the family.

Proportionate to population, France is the worst. Argentina is next. The US, Canada, and UK are pretty even. The Japanese know how to get their kids vaccinated.

He is Gen Z as are all the young men on our football team as Gen Z encompasses everyone 23 and younger at this point. Millenials are 24-38 year olds.

Dan Mullen in his comfort zone again tonight: “We’re the University of Florida. When we play in the state, it’s a home game. Last year we played a home game in Tallahassee, this year we have a home game in Orlando.”

Norfolk/Virginia Beach is very similar both in demographics, politics, beach and the Navy. On the smaller side, Pensacola has a lot of similarities.
