MC Bedrock edition patch 1.16.100.52 adds the long-requested /structure to save and load structures without having to use structure blocks, and /ride to mount, dismount or summon riders. These commands are not available on Java, but could hopefully be added in a future version.

Rejoice! The four year old MC-107529 has been marked as fixed for the upcoming pre-release of 1.16.2: "Marker:1 Armor Stands render themself and their equipment dark if inside solid blocks" No longer will you have to periodically set stands on fire to light up their models.

Dimension types now have a "coordinate_scale" property instead of "shrunk", representing how many blocks in the overworld you travel when traveling one block in this dimension. This affects Nether portals but also the "execute in <biome>" subcommand which now scales position.

1.16.2 pre-release 2 was released, with a few bugfixes to worldgen. You can now modify default biomes and features without having to modify the entire dimension. In the previous snapshot, this would cause the biome to disappear and your output log to be flooded with errors.

20w30a has been added to the bug tracker. The new snapshot will probably include custom foliage color. At the moment, the color of grass/leaves in custom biomes is solely determined by temperature and humidity, but cannot be set to anything outside of the usual foliage colormap.

By importing world gen settings, this means you can remove some features (e.g. prevent diorite from spawning) or add some to the default dimensions. With data packs alone, you can also create custom dimensions with their own features and settings.
