We're going to take this time over the next few months to refine this legislation and make sure that we structure a process for CBAs that's fair and straightforward. Like much of what is working on now, this is about smart, equitable growth for our city.

A lot of people don't realize that CBAs aren't a requirement here in a Philadelphia. They're largely voluntary. So based on my communications with leaders from other cities, it's become clear that we need to codify CBAs and create some consistency here.
