Excellent piece by - nationalisation of the water industry is the wrong answer. And it’s trying to answer the wrong question anyway. Sky Views: Tough regulation misses the point about UK's water supply

For me: a) more ambitious, binding standards set nationally and/or locally about acceptable SuDS design. And crucially b) arrangements in place for adoption and maintenance. Will 's Sewers for Adoption V8 help solve both? If not, what more should water co.s do?

I'm usually pretty good at managing my climate grief/rage, because, y'know, the job would be impossible if I wasn't. The tried, tested, and probably unsustainable approach centres on good old fashioned bottling things up and cognitive dissonance, with occasional breaks.

Nationalisation isn't the only way to put the public interest at the heart of the water industry. are making changes to put a legally-binding commitment to the public interest at the heart of what we do. Very proud!
