From what I’ve seen ( again probably doesn’t apply to all brands) is that they go to a competitor that offers something similar who is. Maybe just through the trust that Amazon comes with? Answers on a postcard

Couldn't agree with this more. If you put into Amazon in the UK. For most of their brand terms are covered by Asics are only just in the top 5 results.

I think this is a very valid point. One thing I would mention, high end SERPS are gradually moving to Amazon now. I work with one high end clothing company who this time 3 years ago wouldn't dream of being on Amazon but now they are vendors, the numbers make sense for them.

For eCommerce in the UK and US. I think you 110% have to be. It Out passed Google and most clients go from a brands site to Amazon to see if they can find it cheaper

A2 I'm working with a few big brands but mostly SME's. The more people are realizing if they work in ecom, they have to work on Amazon and Amazon ads are by far and away the quickest ways to drive sales and rankings

A3 Really interested in how people deal with the Ouroboros of sales vs keywords. I finding using my CRM to know my customer better than Amazon has helped me massively in feeding the keyword I use

I only know because I'm massive mythology geek. Yeah it sounds like a good plan. I suppose it comes down to knowing your customers better than Amazon to get the best results
