We just had the most incredible and honest interview with and on Radio 2 about the abuse they suffered from Barry Bennell. This comment from a listener is precisely why they've chosen to speak out.

And thank you for letting us tell your story. Micky was one of the 12 at Liverpool crown court to get justice and has waived his anonymity to speak out.

Micky Fallon was one of Barry Bennell's boys at Crewe - "'The paedophile lads,' opponents called us." Even by Bennell's standards, Micky's story is something else. Please read:

I find it impossible, not just difficult, to believe. Hamilton Smith, the former managing director, warned them, just for starters.

There's more on Mark's story, including an interview with Margaret, in this documentary by . Deborah also made the 1997 Dispatches documentary - the sport, from the FA down, should have listened to her.

Mark is here (third from left, bottom row) in one of Manchester City's feeder teams (not one managed by Bennell). He's next to Paul Warhurst and Gary Speed is on back row. Mark was the captain.

Thank you in particular to Margaret for talking to me about her youngest son. Mark would have turned 48 this week and Sunday is the anniversary of his death. I'd like to say she's ok etc but, as you can imagine, you never get over something like this

Mark Hazeldine was another of the boys at Manchester City coached by Barry Bennell. Mark isn't with us today - tragically - but I've spent time with his family and friends:

Special mention today to the 12 former players who initiated these proceedings and for starting the 'tidal wave'. Andy told us from the start this would be huge. Since then 294 suspects have been identified to police and 839 victims have come forward.

This is a long read - and, warning, it's a grim read - and not an easy one to introduce. Barry Bennell - my backgrounder about the man they regarded as a 'god'.

Gary Cliffe was the first to press charges against Barry Bennell in this case. Gary, a kid at Man City, was abused 100-plus times, including on the pitch at Maine Road. Today, he waives his anonymity.

Over the next couple of days we're going to be telling the stories of Barry Bennell's victims. Unfortunately for the clubs implicated in this scandal, it's also going to come out how abysmally Man City and Crewe have behaved:

Back at Liverpool Crown Court for Barry Bennell trial. Seven charges still outstanding so very limited what I can say so far about yesterday's 36 guilty verdicts. Jury about to begin fifth day of deliberations.
