Center Aisle delivers on her 3-5 backing turning in impressive debut victory, the $1.5 million 2yo purchase pulled away late from another good looking first time starter, Say Moi, easily second best in her bow. Joel Rosario rode the winner for trainer Chad Brown.

Trainer Barclay Tagg said he was "ecstatic" to be able to get this race in and for Tiz the Law to perform as he did in Florida Derby. "He'd been off 2 months & had we not been permitted to run it could have been another 2 months before he might have been able to run again."

Bemma's Boy(9-1) up in time to win the G2 Pan American under Florent Geroux for trainer Mike Maker. Some really tough trips for the two favorites Zulu Alpha and Channel Cat, who projected to be forwardly placed but wound up having to rally from rear of field in traffic.

Swiss Skydiver(9-1) came into the Gulfstream Oaks doing great but never expected to see her loose on the lead like that. Great job by Paco Lopez nursing her along to victory with Lucrezia hanging gamely the entire way to finish second. Winner trained by Ken McPeek.

Mean Mary(1-1) scatters the geese, goes on to popular wire to wire victory in the Grade 3 Orchid, adding to her even easier triumph in the Grade 3 La Prevoyante earlier in the session. Clever handling by red hot jockey Luis Saez for trainer Graham Motion.

The "other" Brendan Walsh trainee in Sand Springs La Signare(5-1) gets the jump on stable mate Zofelle, springs the mild upset under a well judged ride by Tyler Gaffalione. Zofelle ran into traffic issues, rallied belatedly, arguably best but had to settle for 2nd money today.

Great comeback effort from Vekoma(8-5) in first start since the Kentucky Derby. Runs to his backing and series of good works to win the Sir Shackleton under Manny Franco for trainer George Weaver. Nice effort by runner-up Yorkton. Disappointing showing from Last Judgment.
