Watching BlacKkKlansman right now. Powerful. It reaffirms to me. Why have we let Hip-Hop become overrun by unconscientious rappers? Emcees use their voice to uplift their people. Yes, we want groovy shit. But that's not the issue. The issue is the absence of truth.

I'm so sick of the "if hip-hop doesn't sound like hip-hop when I grew up, then It's not real hip-hop guy." Anything that doesn't grow and adapt in life will die. All fans should be excited about the growth and continued success of the art.

Drake didn’t advertise it but he also didn’t hide it. Quentin Miller is all over the credits on IYRTITL. As far back as “Goin’ In” Nickelus F was in interviews talking about writing that verse.
