They’re probably going to reveal something significant, if there’s anything at all, on the 20th on their YouTube channel.

A frame where you can get get hit out of an attack is a crapshoot and nobody will disagree.

And I’ve already explained that a 1f vulnerability window makes something a crapshoot. It is objectively a crapshoot. I can go into any character Discord for any game and reaffirm this. You just hid behind the “it not TECHNICALLY RNG lol” excuse.

The reason why these games seem to be getting bigger is because the rest are shrinking rapidly. They’re incredibly reliant on the old players for attention. I dunno if I’d say SC is complex but I don’t know a ton about it either. I feel like it was heavily aimed at casuals.

You couldn’t even find me a decent player that would quit if they were cut lol

Replying to @OtherEhm
Most of the game is walking around doing nothing lol

People complain about them all the time lmao. People even bitch as whine when a tournament comes down to a failed input. I’m not convinced any real human being likes them.

aren’t sticking around anymore. Newcomers would rather play stuff like Pokken since you can use every action straight out of the gate with no extra effort.

It’s just the opposite. Games that are simplifying themselves are selling more and staying in the public eye longer. Getting into EVO isn’t a benchmark that investors or frankly even the devs care about. Old greats are dying left and right because the long curated communities >

Even pros, the best of the best, eat shit due to tiny vulnerability windows like this. No amount of “git gud” can make what’s essentially random chance not random.

I’m not asking to chain invinciblity together infinitely lmao. You can’t argue without resorting to crappy strawmen can you?

I mean, you have to be missing something. 100% collection is the requirement for the good ending.

And the pros still get bit in the ass over tiny vulnerability windows like this. Just because you can plug your ears and pretend you can work around the problem doesn’t mean it’s not actually a problem.

Nah fam, this is 100% a Scrubquote lol There’s 4 difficulty settings for a reason. The difficulty difference between the DLC and main game isn’t the best but Proud was spam Fire the game before DLC. The moment something dares to require some semblance of skill he flips out.

The core of Fighting games are ultimately guessing games. You can and will just get unlucky and get hit in even the tiniest vulnerability windows. If this has never happened to you then you don’t play Fighting games.

But what about transitioning from a block to the attack? Why should there be a gap?

Doesn’t matter how intended it is, it feels like shit lmao. Why do we need chances for everything to just not work? It’s better for everyone if stuff just works 100% of the time. It’s not a turn based RPG. If anything it just gives more power to people who use macros.

You can’t control which frame you’re going to be hit on. This it’s a crapshoot. Especially if it’s some kind of multihit.

A 1 frame gap between a block and a move with frame 1 properties is huge. It makes something guaranteed into a crapshoot.

Why shouldn’t I complain about bad game design? You can’t prepare a forwards attack while holding backwards lmfao What’s with the FGC’s obsession with keeping clunky and outdated baggage? It’s like if shooters turned down using a mouse for aiming “because it’s too easy.”
