Hey Nonna. Kawhi Leonard is a Toronto Raptor.

I swear Nick Wright and Bill Simmons tweet ridiculous stuff like this with the sole purpose of triggering Raptors fans

Imagine being a role player and feeling so entitled that you attack an NBA franchise that - for all we know - could employ you in the future. Not a smart man.

Winning season after winning season. Too half of the playoffs for what... 5 or 6 straight years?

Lastly, Lowry had a +7 net rating this playoffs... DeRozan had a -15!!!!! I’ll end with that.

Secondly, not only is Lowry a starting point guard, he is easily a top-10 starting point guard. I can’t even conprehend how anyone who watches basketball can argue otherwise. Efficient scorer, great shooter, upper-tier PG defender, great ast/to ratio. I’m scratching my head

This is such a bad basketball take that I debated even replying. Fred is great, Lowry is 1683826273x better. Take a look at Lowry’s stats this postseason and tell me how he stunk

Realistically he probably doesn’t know a thing about Toronto. Fans need to show him what playing int Toronto looks and feels like

Raptors fans need to make Kawhi feel like a God from the second he arrives

Toronto needs to show loyalty but not at the expense of doing what needs to be done for the team to compete

Guys... I LOVE DeMar DeRozan... but lets not act like DeMar didn’t have every chance in the world to make this thing work in Toronto. At some point, onus needs to fall on star players to produce when their team needs them. As great as DeMar was, he failed to do that too often.

Can we nickname this lineup... the Smother Brothers?

Raptors are just as good as the C’s currently. Kawhi would be best player in a Toronto/ Boston series and the bench remains almost untouched

Honestly, making an NBA finals is what Toronto needs to be worrying about. It will change the look and feel of the city as an NBA market forever

Larger population than Chicago and that’s not even factoring in the country-wide appeal. Outside of NY and LA, Toronto could make a case for 3rd largest NBA market
