Dr. Craig Considine
I opened my inbox to a message: “I’m a Christian & I’ve fallen in love w/ a Muslim. Is this okay?” The same kind of question is often sent by a Muslim man/woman who has fallen in love w/ a Christian. So here’s my best advice: “True love should always transcend religious dogma.”

I’m in love with a Muslim, and he’s in love with an agnostic (me) 🥰. We respect each other’s religion and beliefs. I love hearing about Islam, and I encourage him to practice his religion because I see how much it gives him happiness and peace.

A lot of valid points here. However, religious dogma should never come to the point where it brings calamity, coercion, or grief in people’s lives.

I’ve witnessed for myself couples deeply in love who didn’t marry each other because they were from different religions.... they had a lifetime of unhappiness .... so I agree “true love does transcend...” other people should leave the judging part to God

True love should always encourage seeking the truth and accepting it whatever it is.
