'Caring is hard in ‘normal’ times, so right now that is made even harder. We care for some of the most vulnerable people within society, yet society doesn’t recognise what we do enough' Via .

This idea that talking about mental health is attention seeking is poison. People die everyday due to this judgement, and then people finally say, “I wish they spoke up.” We need to talk about it now & not leave it until it’s too late.

Please help us, help them. We are a locally funded RSPCA licenced animal centre who has been hit with shop closures since March and will take us time to recover. Even £1 helps! Only give what you can, charity begins at home.

⚠️Trigger warning - Suicide The blog post linked below one of my most raw, it is not for attention, it is for awareness, it is to show people that talking openly about suicide can help!💛 The two pics below are of me at my lowest, yes BOTH of them!

Drafted up a VERY raw but very REAL update on my mental health for my blog, but I’m not sure whether to post it or not. Obviously it would be with trigger warnings as that’s necessary but not sure if it’s content that would be read by others? What’s your thoughts guys? 😚

Just when we were getting back to some sort of ‘norm’ 😫 Just listen people!! Wear masks, social distance, wash your hands, it’s not hard! Don’t be selfish!

Since the age of 16 and when I became a I’ve had to constantly battle with my local authority, yet it continues!!!!! I am a and I matter, why should I have to battle to be heard and listened to 😫 It’s appalling!

“Suicide is a cowards way out” NEVER tell someone this. Labelling suicide as cowardly is hurtful & unhelpful, it makes suicidal people feel ashamed of their thoughts & feelings. Also, it doesnt discourage people from attempting suicide - it discourages them from seeking help.
