I’ll be a president who fights for LGBTQ+ issues every day by using the platform of the presidency to inspire and ignite justice, compassion and a more courageous empathy—so that we see the equal worth and dignity of all Americans.

It is entirely unsurprising to me that Sen. Cory Booker is getting rave reviews tonight. I've met him many times, and he's always ahead of the curve on LGBTQ issues, especially trans rights.

Amen. was proud to participate in the process. The Democratic nominee for president is going to have to unite and represent all the diverse voices in our party. And not earning the endorsement is no excuse for what we’ve seen from some this week.

This story is stunning and should be shaking Washington right now—Donald Trump's moral vandalism disqualifies him from being president. As I've said before, it's time for impeachment proceedings.

The stock market may be surging to record highs, but most Americans are not seeing the benefit. We need economic policies that work for all Americans—and that’s what I’ll fight for as president. Here’s my plan:

Nearly half of all workers make less than $15 per hour, and can’t save fast enough to cover an unexpected expense. That’s unacceptable—but we can fix it. I’ve outlined a plan to empower workers and create an economy that works for all Americans:

Ms. Emily was a force and a shining example of a servant's heart—today is a sad day for South Carolina and all who were touched by her. Praying for and sending all my love to Rep. Clyburn and the entire Clyburn family.

When federal and state governments fail to act, it falls to cities to do what they can to protect their citizens from gun violence and hate crimes—a responsibility I felt deeply in Newark. Grateful to see Columbia taking steps to keep its citizens safe.

This isn't leadership—it's insecurity. As president, I'll fight alongside our climate leaders to achieve a 100% carbon neutral economy no later than 2045.

My dad grew up poor in NC but was able to lift our family into the middle class. Today, that dream is out of reach for too many Americans. As president, I’ll fight for policies to create an economy that works for everyone.

Wow-another very strong proposal for labor law reform. puts out a bold statement in favor of sectoral bargaining & extending right to unionize to all workers. This proposal shows he gets workers need a bigger, more powerful voice to create fairness in our economy.

Lots of great stuff in Booker's new economic plan, but his capital gains tax proposal is very notable and bold: he proposes taxing gains as ordinary income, with a mark-to-market system for the wealthy. Also ends stepup at basis and like-kind exchanges.

. is latest #2020 candidate to recognize we must fundamentally change discriminatory & outdated labor laws. Anyone who wants to be president must listen to working people's demand to rewrite the rules so everyone can join a union no matter where we work.
