This is not up for debate: Fair wages and benefits should be extended to all working Americans in this country. Inspired by Stop & Shop employees, who demanded their voices be heard and their work valued.

Students are the ones who will have to deal with the decisions lawmakers make for decades to come—protecting their right to vote is paramount. Thank you, , for leading the fight in New Hampshire to protect student voters. I'm proud to support this fight.

Five years after one of the worst man-made environmental disasters in our history, Flint still doesn't have clean water. And we're still fighting for clean water in places like Newark, Pittsburgh, & Detroit. Who are we if we can't guarantee this basic right to Americans?

The Apostle Paul wrote, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." On a day meant for celebration, so many families in Sri Lanka are devastated, and my heart breaks along with theirs. There's absolutely no justification for this.

Families are dealing with their immigration status every single day. Grateful that Sen took time out of his busy schedule to hear it straight from them. They ARE somebody.

Blessed to meet with such an inspiring group of women today. The generous hospitality they showed to me and my team while sharing personal, harrowing stories of our immigration system is a lesson for us all about common decency, humanity and family.

Columbine was 20 years ago, and yet we still haven’t taken meaningful action to stop gun violence. Enough is enough—we can't wait for progress. People are getting shot every day. It was time then, and it's time now.

The New Colossus says, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free." Nowhere does it say kidnap families seeking a better life. These vigilantes are pointing to the administration as their license to do this.

The Marijuana Justice Act wouldn’t just legalize marijuana—it would expunge the records of millions of people who have been hurt by the War on Drugs.

As we work to legalize marijuana nationwide, we’ve got to also ensure equity in the marijuana industry. Communities that have been historically targeted by the failed War on Drugs can't be left out of opportunities to participate in the legal marijuana economy.
