Special shoutout to the awesome crew from for the excellent support work in getting us up there safely, efficiently, & with a masked smile! It’s good to have competent friends when you’re 85’ up, wrestling with a light tower.

Some minor maintenance and cleaning at the hawk cam nest sites today! Equipment was in great shape and we modified some of cam 2’s housing to try and eliminate the halos at night from the IR light. Can’t test till later though, so hopefully it’s an improvement!

Interesting morning in Cornellhawksland. The bird on left is an after hatch year Redtail. It has a red tail/light eyes. It was sitting in Big Red/Arthur territory until Big Red and Arthur pushed it south. Who's chick it is we do not know. Scap - Karel & Bogette stream. TY K&B!!
