What did he do in 36 years? Why does he not have the principles of a Dominic Grieve, Tony Benn, Hilary Benn, David Davis? Where was he when he could take a stand on principle and he NEVER DID Why did he squander all that influence just to retain his seat and paycheck?

What did I do in 36 years? Why do I not have the principles of a Dominic Grieve, Tony Benn, Hilary Benn, David Davis? Where was I when I could take a stand on principle and I never did Why did I squander all that influence and then run on Tony Blair's platform who I "opposed"

No it doesn't. It says ceasefire and UN should have intervened I think geopolitical diplomacy is firstly too complex for a tweet and secondly too complex frankly for you. These things are beyond what can be reasonably used in an argument

What drives my supporters' resentment? - in 36 years I achieved nothing in the Commons but collected a salary in the top 1% - Blair achieved & helped more people than I ever will - my "principles" extend to opposing Blair but happy to be elected on his manifesto & achievements

Yes. He fluked it Just like facing Hitler or any other genocide or facist (like the syria vote) he would be happy to stand back Pacifism is great on paper but morally bankrupt

Which would have been better facing Nazi Germany, the Rwanda genocide or the Balkans massacre

Did he resign on principle to embarrass Blair and Labour? Did he take a stand and focus the media on him like he could have as an MP? Like the MPs I listed above And why after that did he run on Blair's platform to keep his seat? Where were his "principles" then? He's a charlatan

And one where Rwanda, Nazi Germany and the Balkans would go by without a sound from us to stop it... What did "developing that view" and "predicting" change for anyone. A lot of kids develop the same view and didn't need to be paid to do it Did he stop what he knew was coming

Dominic Grieve risking giving up power and influence on a point he believes in on principle for the good of the UK is what my supporters think and wish they saw when they looked at me Did I take this kind of stand on Iraq? Or anything? Ever? This is real moral courage

Real leadership is knowing how to win and real achievement is about actually moving the ball forward for your team By those metrics where is Corbyn?

And why did he need to "spin" - a right wing media a and a product of 2 decades of losinf elections had informed his thinking. He wanted to radically change this country and improve lives And he did. He did what he had to do to do it because he cared and was smart

Something we never say but is true - Tony Blair sold social democratic policies to middle England dressed as centrism He was belittled for "spin" for it but that was the political genius He was almost too good. Now the corbyn camp claim he was a "Tory" 😂
