It’s actually this case which makes up one of my biggest irritations with Trump... part of his style is the personal attack, the goofy nicknames, and so on. And the left does it too. That’s the side of the dialog I despise.

None of this is fair. But I grow exhausted and disgusted that not only are the kids not left apart from this stuff, AND they aren’t refuted with facts... people have to go into “goofy inbred Trump spawn” and “crazy face shrieking harpy Greta”. None of that is disagreement.

I don’t like that approach. I get your reasoning, but I don’t agree that we have to batter down kids to make that point. Refute with facts? Sure. Question the motives of the people who use kid shields? Absolutely. But the personal attacks on appearance do nothing positive.

Yeah, it’s hard to offend me. Certainly not with disagreement like this. Anyway, I don’t think children should act without consequence... I just think the kind of personal attacks and battering that goes on should not aim at them.

I agree she’s being used as a shield. Completely. Feels often like a very callous, marketed ploy. I still wish people didn’t go after her. Or Baron. Or kids. Not personally.
