The biggest takeaway from the Microsoft/Sony venture is they both fear Google and its Stadia streaming game service more than we thought. Was not expecting these fierce rivals to partner up.

Not everyday that you see the richest man in the world drive an earth mover...but then again, Amazon breaking ground on a massive Air Cargo hub is pretty significant.

Intriguing...new stock exchange just approved by SEC..."a new way of going public", requiring companies to establish rules that discourage a focus on short-term performance. Backed by and other tech "heavyweights"

There isn’t one since the Republican party became the Populist party in 2016, but Bill Clinton-era Democrats are probably the closest thing.

Coincidence? Resisting the strike? Or is this Lyft’s way of “celebrating” Uber’s IPO? Just got this email offering 25% off my next 10 Lyft rides - no code needed.

At the time, I remember getting a lot of feedback that the mobile shift would significantly hurt Facebook, just like it hurt Google, right? :-)

This is a new one for me...not only does have metal detectors and screeners to get into the conference, but also armed police in the keynote sessions. A little odd when speakers are just talking about advancements in AI and machine learning.

Funny how Rockets fans expect such special treatment. Harden is the world’s best known flopper and manipulator, and Paul is trying to copy him. Throwing your hip out (Paul) or your legs out (Harden) to get the foul isn’t the way to win games.

Amazon's shift from 2-day to 1-day free delivery for Prime members should not be a big surprise. Long-term, Amazon will offer free one-hour delivery on most ordered items.

Not blaming the reporter, but this article, like dozens others over last 2-3 years, miss the simple fact that vast majority of ad spend doesn't flow through these ad agencies. Certain segments yes, but the sweeping conclusions are misleading

Bay Area governments have failed the people without plans to create adequate housing, and in fact, blocking many efforts to create more supply. There are many explanations (lack of understanding basic economics, NIMBY, etc.) but when will elected leaders get the courage to fix?
