Thanks Matt. These are helpful though it would be nice to have a breakdown of these submissions by gender and race, if possible. I'm concerned that existing systemic biases might be getting amplified. Maybe everyone is equally affected?

Have had similar delays with multiple papers at multiple journals. I wish there was more conversation on how to deal with this in a way that won't disproportionately affect early career scientists.

I'm in for this and then maybe after we can have a session to discuss a reasonable strategy to build a research program for early career faculty. I am out of ideas 🙄.

(1/2) Yet another police killing of a Black man - Kevin Peterson Jr. Details are still emerging. But here is what we know - this 21-yr old should NOT be dead and the police had the option to NOT shoot him multiple times

Yes I hear you. Feeling many of these feelings lately. I wish there was a place to talk about climate and ecological grief at our conferences.

Love this list. Thank you for making it. I was only referring to the Dimos list. Hope they'll use yours as reference 🙂

Excellent list but you might consider diversifying it. 1 woman and no BIPOC climate scientists?!?!? (Apologies to the scientists if I incorrectly assumed your identity)
