My amazing niece deals with Asperger's syndrome and she doesn't socially engage within groups. But when we sat down to play D&D for the first time a couple of years ago, she completely engaged at the table. It was incredible.

With an autism diagnosis a family should immediately be referred to an mentor. In stead parents suffer to meet ableist standards. So unnecessary. Valuable time wasted.
